Leviath Huntsman

Behind the scars

Leviath appears and presents himself as any noble Luthraghon of Grana would, refined and calculated even for his scarred complexion. However, he was in reality born in Behr from a Vedir outcast known as Raven L'oxxon along with his Twin brother William Brun. His Father whom was a deserter of the Kamasylvian war had left many burdens upon him and his family for what seems like generations to come. He served as a Cavalryman for most of his early life in Grana before being sent away to the Fortress of Aduir.

The Dream

Born of dishonor and a stained reputation from the start, yearning for better has never once been forgotten. Often the Luthraghon can be seen wishing for change in the world and for the betterment of those to tread the path of the unfortunate. His desire to break his own path and follow none any longer has reached a turning point and can be seen posted on walls of nearly every tavern in the known world.

The Secret

"So much work there is to be done, there isn't nearly enough blood, sweat and tears to go around..."

It's a long story... Are you certain?

Five years of ongoing story long?...Thank the gods it's a Summery then...
((Spoilers possibly ahead, stick to the overview if you don't want them))

Formerly known as Leviath Brun, the Luth was born in the dense wilderness of southern Calpheon, in a territory which is now is called Behr along with his twin brother Wiliem. His mother Ravania L'oxxen was a long time resident and refugee of sorts along with his father Lucien Brun, having abandoned his post and summons during the beginings of the great war in Aduir, which much later would unknowingly have repercussions on his young sons. Not long after, the peace of the Brun families new found life began to settle, rather suddenly Lucien went mysteriously missing...Without a trace of Lucien in sight, Ravania quickly took to establishing help with a human family of the village to assist her with her young children which they took up so rapidly. It certainly exposed them at an early age to human customs and mannerisms, such as higher emotionality and empathy. Often seen as weakness and hindrances to most of Leviath's Vedir heritage.
By the time the twins grew old enough to care and fend for themselves, both of them began to hone their skills by hunting small game, and learning the ways of the hunting village.
Life for them was simple then, however. Such didn't last, as the young Luthragons grew into young men, they were quickly conscripted into the war their father had left for them to fight. Both of them endured their training before being sent off to the Aduir and to finish out the remainder of the siege. They came back from war both scarred, and changed men.

Something was very different about Leviath, a scar that none of could see visibly other than the gnarled one across his face. Something within, had changed for him. And his brother could see it.After the war had concluded, and they were released. The Twins both set out to find a new meaning to their lives and ways to forget what they had seen there. Leviath sought after marriage within the courts of Grana, he married a couple times to few ladies of noble standing, however, for one reason or another. Such marriages never managed to last. Not until he met lady named Ember Hexe, a human apothecarian and herbalist of Keplan. They quickly founds themselves married and not long after with their first child was born, a daughter named Searena Brun. For once, the darkness that tainted Leviath's mind seemed to vanish for a time since after the war.

A most Auspicious meeting

Various hooks are as follows...

  • Blackstone dealings: Not terribly long ago, Leviath was know to dabble in the buying and selling of blackstones. The reason for his obsession with the stones were never quite clear, although, the bare sight of them often has the man intrigued of the sourcing.

  • Hunting and Leatherworking: Being from Behr, the Luth practices regularly in hunting and skinning of wild game. The more extravagant or deadly the beast whether on ones shoulders as a cloak or in the wild, the more you will have his undivided attention. Even stories of past hunting experiences can send him on hours of talk.

  • Trade with the Obsidian Envoy Settlement: Being head of the trade division of the settlement always has the man looking for the next deal to strike up. No matter if it's a company or a freelancer's work, he would always want to make business profitable for both parties.

  • Veterans from the Siege of Aduir: Just the bare mention of the Root realm will cause the luth's interest to be piqued by someone's very presence, and mention of the war, could strum up for deep meaningful conversation, as he wants to connect with other survivors of the war.

  • Knowledgeable and a believer in Hadumism (requires some ic lead up for him to talk about it): If you get to know Leviath well enough you may discover that he was converted to a rather unusual type of ideology back from his time spent in Aduir... Some say something traumatic shifted the man's perception...
